What a wonderful home. We chose this as our home base for my wife and my wedding. We had our first dance in their back patio with their firepit and the photos were amazing. We cooked our first meal in their home with our close friends after getting married. We were able to use their pizza oven to have an unforgettable memory with our friends. All the while our hosts were responsive and welcoming. Can't recommend this spot more.

Our stay was very nice for one day to celebrate my aunt's 50th birthday. We had 11 people and 1 baby with us and had so much room. The house had 2 full kitchens and 2 full living room areas. So much space to spread out and also hang together. We enjoyed the the hot tub and made s'mores around the fire- they provided the wood also. The wrap-around porch was also nice to relax with family. We also used the Pack 'n Play and baby gate for our 1 year old. It was like having 2 houses in 1. Very had so much fun!

This place truly felt like home — perfect for groups and especially great for kids. The fire pit and the open kitchen, dining, and living areas made our evenings cozy and full of fun. The long dining table was perfect for everyone to eat together, and the deck was my favorite spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. Manny, the host, was super friendly and always quick to respond, making the whole stay smooth and easy. My kids loved it so much they actually said, “Why can’t we live here forever?” the best compliment I’ve ever heard on a trip! What really blew me away was the house being surrounded by lush green hills all around- so peaceful and calming. A must-try: open the windows around 5 a.m. to hear the incredible chorus of birds singing. It’s like waking up to nature’s own symphony, something I’ve never experienced before. If you’re an early riser, take a drive nearby to catch the stunning sunrise over the Black Mountains and Swannanoa. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return

We had the absolute best time!  Beautiful stylish home with spectacular views!  We sat in the hot tub every night and enjoyed the peace and quiet.  We all had so much fun playing pool and watching movies.  It was an easy drive to beautiful towns and restaurants.  We hope we can come back soon!

Beautiful and clean house. It was perfect for our big group of people! We had 11 and everyone had plenty of room. The hosts were very hospitable and provided everything we needed plus some. They were great at giving you information and communicating quickly. You are in the mountains of NC, so the driveway is a little steep. Nothing unmanageable and the parking was good, but keep that in mind. Big vehicles made it a little challenging. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone and we would stay again!

The pictures do not do this place justice! The view was incredible. The house itself was beautiful & very clean, we felt right at home. Instructions we were given were easy to follow. The fenced in yard was awesome to have with our dog, and they are not kidding when they say bears are their neighbors. We saw a mom with her cubs near the driveway one morning. I was so excited to see some of the nature from mountains trickle in around the house. Would DEFINITELY recommend.

This house was perfectly located for a mountain getaway that is still 10 minutes from downtown Black Mountain. We loved going into town in the morning and going on hikes in the afternoon, then coming back to this very clean and comfortable house to relax!

Beautiful cabin! Thank you for sharing with us! The views were spectacular. The decor was rustic and classy. We loved sitting in the hot tub in the morning and watching the fog drift over the mountains. The high ceilings made the house feel extra spacious, and the kids enjoyed playing pool in the loft! The beds were very comfy. The driveway is pretty steep at first but then it’s roomy at the bottom close to the house. Wonderful stay!!

If you value quiet, this is the place for you! The home is located at the end of a private road and you will not hear any traffic from the subdivision or the nearby neighbors. The interior of the home is laid out such that you will not hear noise from others in your group. We had a very restful stay here visiting with local family members with plenty of room to spread out. We loved the outdoor seating area and with the beautiful weather, enjoyed it everyday. The pizza oven was a hit with our group and we were able to enjoy many meals together here. The home is a short driving distance from many excellent restaurants and other services.

We only stayed one night, but it was very comfortable. I had a group of teens who loved that they all had their own bed, were able to have plenty of fun, and I had a room to escape them! We were having such fun exploring the area, we didn't make use of hot tub.

What a great stay! Being able to bring our fur babies on vacation with us made for such a stress free vacation. We had family within a mile of us which was what made us choose this home in the first place, but that combined with the home being within 2 miles of so many restaurants, grocery stores, target, etc. is so convenient! We had a great stay at this property during a recent work trip with my team. The home was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully laid out—each of us had our own bedroom and towels on beds upon arrival, as well as our own living room and kitchen space, which gave us plenty of flexibility and privacy. The house was very clean in a quiet little spot with lots of parking of available, and the host were easy to contact and quick to reply overall, a really great stay!!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The house is exactly as described. It’s close to Black Mountain and Warren Wilson with an easy drive to each and into Asheville. The house has great finishings with every bit modernized. The neighborhood was really quiet, but keep in mind that this is a hillside community. There are a cluster of houses pretty close together so you won’t get a lot of privacy if that’s what you’re looking for. The back yard is three small terraces, so it worked fine to let the dogs out in the night, but there isn’t room to run and play. Not a problem for us, we took our pups for walks in the neighborhood every morning and on trail walks within an easy drive, but something you should be aware of.   We come to the area several times a year and would happily stay here again.

We came to Swannanoa to help with Hurricane Relief Work.  I didn’t realize the house was on a hillside with a very steep shared driveway.  The other houses are close by, but it was a quiet neighborhood.  It was a nice stay.  We were happy to have a warm house to come back to each night.  Praying more people will come to help the region!

Just to clarify the driveway is not shared, it's a stand-alone home that has its own driveway, which is a little steep but is completely paved. Perhaps you meant the road leading to home, which is curvy and  steepish since its on bottom of mountain. Glad you all had a great stay, hope to host you again in the future!

Home was very spacious and for our family well. Beds were very comfy!  Good location to Black mountain and Asheville. Owners very responsiveness to requests. Would recommend place. Swannanoa was still very devastated from hurricane though

Manny & Deisha were very quick to respond and extremely helpful with all questions. Their house was clean and updated and matched all pictures you see online. We loved the fire pit & hot tub but nothing beat the sunrise views while rocking in the nice rockers on the front porch! Coffee with the beautiful sunrise Mountain Views  and a blanket made for great memories. We appreciated having the wood for the fire out in the backyard, neatly housed. We had a wonderful weekend and so happy to support the local area that was devastated by the hurricane. It’s worth the visit to this beautiful small town! Wish we could have helped more but seeing the businesses back up and running and community together made us happy we picked this town to stay in. Thanks for being wonderful hosts and for a gorgeous comfy home for us to celebrate our daughter’s college graduation and hour away. So happy with this pick!!

Tip: buy dry wood and a lighter at the local store for the fire pit and portable spotlight for the jacuzzi area (it’s dark without it).
